I think it's the hanging withered bodies in the background that really push this one well beyond the line of awesome for me.

Every time I see a harpie, it brings to mind a harpie related rant I have. However, when I see original harpies like this one, it helps me to feel somewhat vindicated. Ask me wtf I'm talking about at work, and I'll share my harpie related rant.

Excellent work (and excellent choice of artist to pilfer from!) Loish's stuff is pretty amazing too.
